PostOp Rash: I would have suspected the same thing your surgeon did re: the skin prep...Until it developed on your arm, as well. Did you have an IV in that arm? The same prep may have been used there, as well. Alternatively, you may be allergic to a med you are taking...Antibiotics?...Pain meds? Best bet: take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to rx the itching and check back w/your surgeon. Good luck!
