Some do some don't: A lot of what's labled asthma in infants in toddlers will disappear with age. I've seen estimates that 70% will fade by middle childhood. The persistant group is more likely to have one or more 1st degree relatives with asthma, have had an ICU admission by their 1st birthday, have or had eczema.

Yes: It is likely not to " disappear" but with current treatments, most patients can be rendered symptom-free on meds. Good luck!
