Kidney Biopsy: I've seen this kind of pain last up to 6 weeks but that was in someone who had some really bad bleeding afterwards. I would say the normal amount of time to have some pain is 2 weeks. What is critical is this - is the pain slowly resolving? If so, you are recovering. The actual blood that has been lost will reabsorb over about a 2-3 weeks.
