How long should it take a breast to heal after a stereotactic biopsy with 2 needle sticks: 3cm & 12cm? if there's a hematoma?

Hematoma: Hematoma complicating a breast biospy will take 6 to 8 weeks to resolve, depending on how large the hematoma is. Use a support bra. Report to your provider if the area becomes warm, red or drains as infected hematoma can occur. Hope the pathology is benign. Be well.
