See a doctor...: Painful swallowing is potentially a sign of a significant esophageal problem including infectious esophagitis. An alternative and less serious cause for your symptoms might be "globus hystericus" caused by anxiety. I suggest you visit with your doctor about these symptoms. Good luck!
