Reflux?: Do you eat late suppers, eat a lot of fatty meals? Are you tasting acid or bile at the back of your throat? Are you drinking more than a little alcohol, smoking? These are some of the questions that your doctor may ask to clarify the symptoms that you have described. Some healthy lifestyle choices might make a difference even before you get to see your doctor.

Esophageal discomfor: It appears that you have some esophageal dysfunction and are having reflux with it. Avoid tobacco and alcohol and follow a soft, bland diet for a few days. You could take Prilosec daily. It is important to be relaxed while eating and minimize stress. See a gastroenterologist if symptoms persist or worsen.

You may have : something(food)stuck in your esophagus.Try hot tea , which can relax the esophageal muscles, and allow the food to pass.If it doesn't work, you may need a trip to the ER.A GI doc, with a fiber optic scope, can get it out/or down.Good luck.
