Chest pain: Substernal chest pain should be evaluated with an ekg. Get it checked.

My guess is reflux,: But reflux isn't the only possibility here. While you are young and not likely to have heart disease, that is the most concerning possibility, so do get checked out by your doctor. Reflux occurs when food sloshes up from the stomach into the esophagus. The acid contents are irritating and can cause pain in the front or back of the chest and/or the throat. Antacids or acid blockers can help.
