Not as good and...: This is difficult for me to assess as I have not found a list of equate's ingredients, but i don't consider centrum to be a very good multivitamin. Here is a link to a study which ranked 100 multivitamins- they ranked centrum silver 54th of 101 brands and equate 99th. Equate is inexpensive but what you pay for is what you get. Yes and no.: Not exactly the same, but close enough. Vitamins begin working shortly after ingestion.
