Means most likely: They are not normal cysts, it depends how large they are and is there one or more than one, most likely they are non cancerous cysts but if you were my patient in coral springs, fl. I would do blood work on you to show that the cysts are non cancerous and then depending on the size and what your symptoms are the cysts may need to be removed or followed, i would have to see the us report to tell.

Complex cysts: Ovarian cysts may be simple, that is they are one space surrounded by an outer membrane, like a balloon; or they may be complex, with multiple cystic spaces separated by walls (sepatations). Complex cysts are more likely to be cancers or benign tumors. Blood tests may be positive with certain cancers but when negative don't rule out tumor, so a surgical procedure may be necessary. See your md/do.

Complex cyst: In your age group, complex cysts are typically from involuting follicles containing blood or endometriomas (benign collection of blood). There is an increased risk of cancer the larger the size of the cyst. All complex cysts should be followed with an additional ultrasound to document resolution.
