Get a second opinion: I'm assuming you mean bronchitis, which is usually a viral illness. Since viruses aren't treated with antibiotics, you may want to ask your doctor what bacterial infection he or she is trying to treat with augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate). Consider getting a second opinion if you aren't satisfied with the answer.

If is it common and safe for heart to take Clarithomycin for a sinusitis 10 - 14 days (2x 500 mg)? Clarithomycin is only antibiotic (Levoxa and Augmentin doesn't) which help me but after 6 days of taking I have still sometimes pain (exercises etc.).
