If is it common and safe for heart to take clarithomycin for a sinusitis 10 - 14 days (2x 500 mg)? clarithomycin is only antibiotic (levoxa and augmentin doesn't) which help me but after 6 days of taking i have still sometimes pain (exercises etc.).

Side effects YES: Clarithromycin is not a good option for heart patients and also not a drug of choice for Sinusitis. It has a lot of side effects with cardiac drugs. My advice, change the antibiotic.

Should be ok : Finish the course of antibiotics. Your heart should be fine. Pain does no resolve immediately, but make be there intermittently while healing. If you're concerned it is not better, go back and see the doctor that prescribed the medications. Hope this helps!
