Need clarity: Other reasons for Lhermitte's such as pernicious anemia but a viral infection could be considered. Absence of any lesions in brain or spinal are against MS confirmation but CIS with bands is a little unusual here. Best not to start meds and repeat MRI in one year

Good question: Having the symptom of Lhermittes and o-bands in the CSF supports the diagnosis of MS, but having normal MRI tests suggests otherwise. Many things can cause o-bands to appear. Not sure you ever had MS, and because of that, it may be worth considering stopping medicines to prevent MS. That's just my opinion though. Likely some others will chime in too.
