The test results listed are common everyday tests done competently in regular city hospitals around the country. The results are reviewed and published by the attending pathologist. Referral to any other facility would be at the discretion of the attending doc/pathologist. What your situation or hospitals relationship with the MAYO or other lab is unknown. I have used Mayo Clinic for spinal fluid testing for years, and find they do a terrific job measuring immunological levels, especially oligoclonal bands. Other labs are available, but have no experience with them. The outcome results will return to your doctor in a timely fashion.
