Decongestant: Try otc antihistamine first. If not go to doc to get rx for nasal steroid such as Flonase or nasonex (mometasone). Also make sure you are treated for infection such as rhinitis or sinusitis.

Sinus infection: This is likely a sinus infection or possibly allergies. I'm not sure if you are in full spring bloom, yet in ct.. So i would probably lean towards a sinus infection - see your primary care doctor for an evaluation.
