See your doctor: Pain after surgery is common, but it is usually minimal and temporary. If you are having prolonged or sever pain after carpal tunnel surgery (different pain or the same type of pain), be sure to notify your surgeon. If you don't get answers, be sure to get a second opinion from a board certified hand surgeon.

Call surgeon: First off speak with your surgeon. Carpal tunnel surgery is a highly successful surgery. Having said that of course nothing is perfect and certainly with cts there could be associated conditions including cervical arthritis and bulging discs that could contribute to neurological symptoms. Or maybe you need some basic therapy? Usually fairly straightforward to sort out. Best of luck.

See your doctor: Recurrent cts is not common so your pain may be due to a different problem. A visit to your dr. Is suggested. Occupational therapy may help.
