Depends: Is it cold outside ? If your kid is not able to have a normal temperature in an air-conditioned environment, they are very likely to develop heat related illness if it is warm/hot outside.Then there is the issue of exposing others to what may be a contagious illness. If you live where it is cold, a brief period outside to deal with cabin fever is fine. If hot, stay indoors.
