Several possibles: Many childhood illnesses have associated rashes like what you describe. So it could be from the stomach bug virus you had. It could be roseola (baby measles), common this time of year. Also, if she just recently turned 1 and had an MMR vaccine in the past 2 weeks, it could be her response to the vaccine. 10-20% of kids after MMR get this type of rash. Not to worry - whatever cause, likely to fade.
