Sinusitis: Sinusitis can start with allergies, viral, bacterial, or rarely other types of infections. Dead white blood cells, mucus, and other matter accumulates in the sinuses, and can cause discomfort and a risk of more infection. Drainage is important. Drinking lots of fluids, using a humidifier, and using saline nasal spray or a neti pot can help flush out sinuses. See a provider for fever, more pain.
