You need to return to the surgeon to compare this scan with prior scans but this could represent scar tissue from the original surgery. It could also represent inflammation so it does not necessarily mean the tumor has returned. But, follow up with the surgeon is definitely necessary to have this evaluated. Good luck to both of you!

Return to the neurosurgeon and compare films over the described time interval. Highly unlikely this represents anything other than postoperative scarring and gliosis. Since we are unable to review films on this site, you will need to handle this with your local physicians.
