Hi, for the last few days i've had a terrible sinus infection. for the last few hours i've been blowing out thick, green rubbery mucus that's making it difficult to breath. once i blow it out, i'm fine again.

You need to treat two things: the opening of the sinus drainage and nasal saline, fluticasone can help, nothing wrong to use Oxymetazoline (Afrin) if is only for 3 days in a week. The second component is the infection, for that you need an antibiotic, for that a consult or video consult with your doctor might be needed.
