A member asked:

Is it okay to increase the standard dose of a medication if it isn't effective at the standard dose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: All medications need to be used under the supervision of a licensed medical practioner. If you feel the dose is not adequet discuss this with the person who p[rescribed the medication. And, remember, that medications can take several weeks to work at the dose prescribed.
