Scoliosis: By definition is a sideways- and rotational deformity of the spine. It isn't a scoliosis if it doesn't have a curve, and it is always called a scoliosis if the curve greater than 10 degrees; delow that number, the degree is so mild, that we typically do not even mention it.

I believe so: I do believe that there will someday be a cure for scoliosis, and maybe not so far in the future. It is thought that there is a strong genetic link to scoliosis. There are over 50 genetic markers that can currently be used to predict how likely a curve will progress. So hopefully we will have our answers and cures soon. Thank you for the question.
