NO SET AMOUNT: Instead of counting carbs all day, just take one meal at a time. Fruits do not count as carbs as long as they are not the tropical ones--bananas, dried fruit, pineapple, mangos etc other wise look for each item to have 10 grams of sugar per serving or less, if it is rice, pasta or potato, total carbs less than 20 keep protein above 10 if possible, don't skip meals and you will be fine, .
