See your dentist.: While the great majority of tongue bumps are normal anatomy or benign, you are right to be concerned that one side is different and painful. Possibilities include (but are not limited to) an injury, poor fit of an oral appliance, allergy, vitamin deficiency, opportunistic or fungal infection, or even cancer. If it's not getting better after 2 weeks, you should get your dentist to take a look :).

Difficult to answer: Your description of little bumps on the right back side of the tongue is too vague to give you a responsible answer. You may be seeing a normal formation called the lingual tonsil or something else. The fact that you have pain in that area suggests you would benefit from a visit to your local dentist. It would be best to let someone diagnose the problem and recommend a treatment based on the exam.

See your dentist: This could be many things from innocuous to serious. Only a trained professional can look and diagnose your problem. Your dentist may even have to do a biopsy to differentiate between various pathologies.
