Repair: Peroneal tendon tears, usaully intrasubstance or partial tears are difficult to treat conservatively. Once the MRI determines the extent and location of the rupture, the tendon can be repaired by various procedures...Tubularization, debridement or replacement. Amniotic membrane is showing a promising treatment by wrapping the torn tendon.
