Physiatrist can help: A physiatrist is a physical medicine & rehabilitation doctor. He can evaluate the neck to see where the problem is, and refer the patient to physical therapy if needed. Some people have "normal" neck cracking, while others have cracking noises due to a problem... Which is why a physiatrist is helpful.

None: Don't worry about noise or cracking. Instead, worry about numbness, tingling, weakness & pain. But don't worry about noise. There are no exercises to decrease noise or cracking. But anyone should go see his/her doctor if movement is painful or if any above noted symptoms. Also a good idea if any recent trauma or injury prior to new onset of cracking.
