Doubtful: A mucus retention cyst in a sinus will not generally cause any symptoms. A mild deviated septum can cause nasal congestion, but not normally sinus congestion. Surgery would not address your concerns . If you have ear and sinus congestion, you need to discuss medical rx with your doctor and explore allergy issues, possibly do allergy testing.

Yes: Your ENT will want to remove it. It is possible they may elect to biopsy before completely removing. There are many different thing that this can be. A thorough diagnosis before treatment is important!
