Does it hurt when you get your stitches removed from wisdom teeth?

No: Typically, absorbable sutures are used, where they will break down as the wound heals and no sutures need to be removed. If sutures do have to be removed, as long as the sutures have not gotten embedded into the skin, they are just cut and pulled out. You may feel a slight pulling sensation as they are pulled out.

Hardly: Usually you only feel a slight pulling sensation - not really pain-- or nothing at all. Many stitches dissolve and fall out on their own. Do not worry at all !
