Stiches: stitches fall out as the tissue heals. the tissue retracts and then the stitches become loose and release. try to keep the area clean by using salt water rinses or chlorhexidine rinse. other wise check with the surgeon for more care.

Time frame?: Sutures fall out after a few days. If earlier, contact oral surgeon for advice.
