Tooth Extraction: 6 days after wisdom tooth removal, you should be able to eat most things as long as you take smaller bites and keep the food away from the open wounds as much as possible. Also, make sure you rinse well with plain or mild salt water (warm is more soothing) to get any food particles that may have wondered into the extraction sites rinsed out. You seem to be doing great!

Food choices: What did your Oral Surgeon say? Did he/she give you verbal and/or written instructions? If so, follow them to the letter. You should be OK to eat small bites of soft food, trying to keep the bolus of food away from the surgical sites. Slowly wean yourself back onto your regular diet.
