Let me explain: That is good news if you no ms, other thing could numbness in the wing bone. 1- problems in the neck which cause pinched nerve could do that. 2-bursitis in the area could do that.

Likely a nerve issue: You may possess "notalgia paresthetica", a not uncommon but benign problem affecting the shoulder blade, where nerves conjoin, but you could have referred problem from neck, thoracic spine or even joint problem from shoulder. This does not seem to be a problem which might be part of ms, although suspect your doc was concerned about a lhermitte's phenomenon.
