After: Wait until after you lose the weight. Your abdominal wall may become loose and you may have some excess skin that needs to be removed, depending on how much weight you lose.

Wait until after: I strongly recommend that you achieve a stable weight and one you can maintain prior to getting a tummy tuck. Either weight gain or loss after a tummy tuck can mean additional surgery to maintain the result. Tummy tucks (witch hazel) performed at a higher bmi may also have a higher rate of complications.

After: Abdominoplasty is not a substitute for diet and exercise, but rather compliments it. The best candidates for surgery are already involved in a long-term diet and exercise routine. They are already at, or near, their goal weight, but need surgery to remove the excess skin and tighten muscles http://www.Dassmd.Com/tummy-tuck/index.Html.

Ideal Patient: The “ideal” patient for tummy tuck surgery is one who has completed pregnancies, is psycho socially/emotionally/financially stable, has an excellent social support system surrounding him/her, is capable of arranging enough recovery time and who has reached a long-term stable weight. i hope this helps.

After....: Tummy tuck surgery is not weight loss but can make the results of weight loss look and feel much better. Do it after you have lost weight and are at a weight that you feel you can maintain over time.

Definitely after: A tummy tuck is not a "weight loss" operation. It is an operation to tighten your skin and muscles. The closer you are to your ideal body weight, the better your result will be.

Tummy tuck: The best obtainable result would be to lose the weight prior to abdominoplasty. The result is more predictable.
