Unlikely to be a pbm: Most progression of common scoliosis happens during the peak growth years of adolescence. After you achieve your adult height & the growth centers fuse there is little change. The exception would be the less common causes of scoliosis that can occur with neurological or degenerative bone diseases.

Scoliosis: Typically, after growth this over, a idiopathic scoliosis rarely worsens. Vast way to know is to check once or twice more over a year with new x-rays to see where the curve is. Probably not an issue....

Unlikely if this is : The typical idiopathic scoliosis with the risk of progression after full skeletal growth unlikely unless the curvature is greater than 50 degrees. At age 18, the male is almost skeletally mature so a curve minor at that time is unlikely to worsen as the major growth spurt is over by that time in most males.
