Any profession: While persons with high amounts of myopia can have a higher rate of retinal tears or detachments, proper glasses or contacts or lasik should yield 20/20 or better vision. If you are concerned about vision loss, annual dilated eye exams can be reassuring, and a profession that is less likely to require high amounts of visual detail may mitigate this concern as well.
