I have rhinitis and my dr prescribed a steroid spray. is it ok to ween myself off of the spray slowly while using the prescription steroid meds?

3 months: The spray does not work well in an on off fashion. If you wish to use it that way try a nasal antihistamine. Give at least a six week trial of the med for it to reach maximal effectiveness before you wean. Finally when you spray the medication place it in your nose and direct the top towards the side.
