Can you take desloratadine (otc named aerius in canada) everyday throughout life for 20-25 years without any side effects for allergic rhinitis? what if i decide to go for this approach rather than allergy shots. steroid sprays don't work at all.

Probably: This drug has been on the market for quite a while. It is simply the isolated/active portion of the drug loritadine that has been around for decades (1993). Studies over the years have shown its safety profile to be quite good. I suppose anyone might have an adverse reaction to any drug but this one has a great record.
