Not sure it matters: I don't think it matters if you shake the medication well before use or not. The only reason it's needed in most causes, is if it has been sitting in one place for a long time without use. You may not get an even dose of the medication if it's not shaken well, however you'll eventually get the amount that your suppose to get if you finish it completely. Not sure if i went the right direction...
