Difficult: Losing weight can be very difficult. First, be careful of "meal replacement" shakes and such. Oftentimes, they do not provide enough calories. Severe calorie restriction is not an effective means of long term weight loss and control. I would start with cutting out all sugar and avoiding easily digestible carbohydrates like pasta and rice. Add in some exercise. Be consistent! good luck!
