Shakes?: Lots of causing for the shakes - low blood sugar, anxiety, drug or alcohol withdrawal, seizures, and others. Please see your doctor to get a proper diagnosis. Some of these are mild and can be controlled with diet, counseling, abstinence, some like seizures, may need medication. Benign family tremor is more consistent shaking, which is usually mild.
