Not really: Taking out a posterior tooth like a second molar shouldnt affect if you will have a gap between your front teeth. If by gap in the back then yes if you still have your first and third molars. See your dentist to discuss treatment options like implants and if missing other teeth then bridge works or even partial dentures. Good luck!

Drifting: The lower 2nd molar will super erupt in time and possible cause bite or gum problems. Have your dentist evaluate and recommend wether to replace.
