Pressure: Roll up two sterile gauzes and bite firmly with the gauze on the extraction site. Bite for 15 min. Repeat as necessary. No rinsing for 24 hours.

Tea bag: Moisten a standard (black tea like lipton, not herbal tea) tea bag and firmly hold it or bite it against the area of bleeding for 15 minutes. If you do not have significant improvement, call your dentist immediately.
