Treat bleeding first: Gingival inflammation must be eliminated and the cause removed prior to any graft perform to ensure the success of the graft. Cleaning, antibiotic, and follow up to treat the bleeding. Remove the cause of gum recession (always brush with soft toothbrush, never hard toothbrush). Treat occlusion. After all these therapy, graft the gum if in the esthetic zone.
