Bleeding gums. what can i do.?.

See your doctor: This can be from a serious blood condition causing low platelets. Usually, there are other symptoms too, such as fatigue, and maybe a rash. If you have not taken good care of your teeth and gums with daily flossing and brushing, this could be from infections of the gum at the base of the teeth, and you may need to have care from a dentist to help heal the diseased gums.

Dental visit: Bleeding gums are a sign of periodontal disease. People with this problem should start using a mouthwash(listerine) 3x a day along with brushing and using floss. A dental visit with a cleaning is also necessary.

Dentist: Usually indicative of gum disease, an infective inflammatory process. Depending on severity, Dentist may treat you or refer you on to a Periodontist, a gum/bone specialist.
