What are some ways for fibromyalgia sufferers to manage their pain?

Exercise: Most fm patients are deconditioned. Regular, low impact exercise is vital in managing fm. Stress reduction techniques like yoga or meditation in conjunction with medications for sleep, depressed mood, or anxiety also play a role. Realizing that fm pain is real but does not represent a serious life threatening disease is vitally important.
