A member asked:

My brother got out of the pool a couple hours ago, he's complaining that his ears ache now?

Couple of things?: He could have trauma to the ear drums due to diving in the pool or by going deep under the water. This would make them hurt. He may just now be developing a "swimmer'sear" which is a n infection of the cartilage in the ear canal due to water exposure, bacterial overgrowth and infection. If short lived, observe. If worsening, see pcp very soon.
