Bedbugs is serious: Both scabies and bedbugs are common hygienic problems nowadays. There is a possibility that rash you have doesn't fit to one particular diagnosis. The scabies is very easier to treat with the meds, your doctor prescribed. The bedbugs don't live on humans, infestation is much more serious problem. Look along mattress seams, baseboards, behind head boards, ceiling/wall junctions, person. Belonging.

I am also confused : By this. Don't know what med you were given unless it is for itching. Bed bugs don't require any specific medications to get rid of them. Creams to treat scabies include: Permethrin 5%, benzyl benzoate, sulfur in petrolatum, ; crotamiton. Itching is worse at night w scabies. If the medication your are prescribed does not work - would encourage you to see a dermatologist for accurate diagnosis.
