Antihistamines: are a good "start" but the MAJOR effort here is the DISPOSAL of the affected sleeping materials or ERADICATION of the bugs ( very frustrating often not effective methods) I would "vote" for DISPOSAL! BTW if infected the bites need local ans well as possibly systemic (antibiotic) treatment! Good Luck..Hope this helps! Dr Z
