A member asked:

How can you treat an underarm cyst at home?

Likely not: The armpit is a pretty sensitive area that can be prone to infection. A true cyst will need to be surgically removed. Other masses can be associated with other diseases. Even an abscess in the armpit needs to be seen as it can be indicative of other serious problems that require medical intervention.

Cyst: If it is a true cyst and diagnosis is correct only simple surgical removal is treatment. If it is inflamed, red, may be infected on skin, an rx topical like Mupirocin or over counter like newsprint. Cysts are well defined, moveable, not painful unless infected. May consider lymph node.
