Got a very painful, bump/cyst-like thing in my armpit. can see a bit of redness, less than size of dime. what could it be & how do i treat? hurts!

Most common: cause for such lump in armpit is a plugges SEBACEOUS CYST. This may require opening and drainage by a surgeon (although most family physicians perfrom such surgery) In the meantime HOT WET PACKS (or lying back in a hot tub) may encourage opening and draining "on its own".
