Most likely cts: It would not be unusual to have a progression of the cts, however this can be evaluated by a hand surgeon. They will perform a thorough history and exam as well as perform a nerve conduction study. That will enable the physician to determine if it is a nerve compression issue and more importantly where, such as the wrist in carpal tunnel syndrome or higher up the arm or possibly the neck.
